The Allied Arts Educational Outreach program awards a number of small grants in support of arts educational outreach projects with a focus on underserved children. The grant program is open to all qualified, nonprofit 501c3 cultural organizations in central Oklahoma. Grantees must be self-identified as "Arts, Culture, and Humanities" using the National Taxonomy of Exempt Entities system.
In order to qualify for funding, projects should provide educational opportunities to Oklahoma schoolchildren in grades K-12.
Hobby Lobby gift cards are also available in increments of $100. Gift cards can be requested in addition to cash grants for the purchase of materials and supplies related to the educational outreach project.
Agencies with an annual budget of $500,000 or more are eligible for up to $5,000 (including gift card request), and agencies with an annual budget of less than $500,000 may receive up to $3,000 (including gift card request).
Agencies receiving grant funds through this program are required to submit a report to Allied Arts upon the completion of the funded project.
