CAPACITY-BUILDING GRANTS
Ends on
DEADLINE - January 24, 2020 at 5 p.m. CST
The Allied Arts Capacity-Building program provides funding to central Oklahoma nonprofit arts and cultural organizations in efforts to strengthen their organization's infrastructure - including technological upgrades, board/volunteer management, long-term planning and professional development.
Grantees must be self-identified as "Arts, Culture, and Humanities" using the National Taxonomy of Exempt Entities system.
An organization with a budget of $500,000 or more is limited to one request per Allied Arts fiscal year.
Allied Arts will provide up to 50% of total project costs, not to exceed $5,000 for approved organizational training, staff/board development and consultant opportunities. The grants review committee reserves the right to fund fully one or more submitted proposals at its discretion. Submission of a proposal does not guarantee funding. Funds are limited.
Funds are not available to pay for programmatic-related expenses, capitol improvements, membership dues, shipping costs, parking or per diem costs for conference attendees. Individuals are not eligible for Capacity-Building funding.
Agencies receiving grant funds through this program are required to submit a report to Allied Arts upon the completion of the funded project with copies of receipts. An organization will not be considered eligible for future funding until a final evaluation report has been submitted.
